INSA Lyon invites you to the 1st capacity building workshop of the ESMARTCITY project to share learnt lessons and acquired knowledge on "smart building" pilots. This event aims at identifying solutions to overcome potential constraints and hurdles of the smart city concept.

Capacity building encompasses human, scientific, technological, organisational, institutional, and resource capabilities. A fundamental goal of capacity building is to enhance the ability to evaluate and address the crucial questions related to policy choices and modes of implementation.

Organized in the framework of the ESMARTCITY project, funded by the Interreg Med Program, the aim of this event is to:
- Strengthen the social dialogue and share the lessons learned from smart lighting deployments;
- Identify solutions to overcome potential constraints and hurdles of the smart city concept;
- Discuss technologies/state of the art or even general problematic faced by the smart city market (open data, IoT, data analytics but also access to tenders and EC policies).
